When are you getting this message? Can you start MSTS?

What have you done prior to it crashing?

There are a number of things that can cause this and I don't think we've got any psychics around here who can confirm the specific cause in your case :D

Have you installed the latest tsection.dat file ?

LSE will have installed a back dated one.

Listed in the support section of the MT site.

In general, if you install an older route on a system with new routes on it, you should install a new tsection.dat to make sure you've not got an older version.

Thanks Dave, i'll try this next time rather than reinstalling MSTS everytime it blows a bit!!

It might *not* be the solution to your problem, but when you install an old route it's good practice just to rule out any other causes of a problem.

Basically, newer version of the tseciton.dat file have extra track pieces listed in it.
If you run a route which uses one of the new bits, and they are not in the tsection.dat it'll fall over on its arse and complain.

Running an old route which only uses track sections listed in the tsection.dat then it'll work fine (as the route will not know there is anything missing)
